Fixation

She needed to stop this and she knew it.

With a frustrated growl, Corra reached for her CID and yanked the device out of its slot in the wall. The screen in front of her flickered black before gradually fading back to its default blue glow, inviting new users. As the light washed over her, Corra glanced down at the little stick in her hand. The temptation to reinsert it and load up her console one more time, just in case, was nearly overwhelming. Maybe this time, it said. Maybe if she just checked one more time.

Corra's room was fun to design. Ever since they've landed on Kadolyne, I've been playing with lighting quite a bit in the illustrations, something that isn't really as possible when the Dionysian's in the air because, you know, no light in space, only flourescents in the ship. Kind of boring.

But Kadolyne's got a very thick atmosphere that gives the place a rather orange-y/reddish hue. Since Corra grew up there, she'd rather like to emulate that on the ship in some way so she's put up her own lighting. Also, as was seen in Goddora's compound, the kind of drape-y fabric across the ceilings is in Kadolyne fashion so she's also put up some of her own. I like to think that she's done her best to emulate her old quarters in her new quarters on the ship. Just to make it more home-y. Plus, posters of all the things she likes because she gets a lot of value in being surrounded by things she loves. Corra's a bit of a nester.
